The newest island quest in the popular online game Poptropica is called Skullduggery Island. It has been available for paid members of Poptropica in early access and will be released to everyone on June 17 2010. Skullduggery is the most challenging and complex quest released on Poptropica so far. This article covers all the Poptropica cheats for Skullduggery with the full Skullduggery Island walkthrough.
When you arrive by balloon, you'll be in Fort Ridley, which is where the first part of Skullduggery Island takes place. For the first part of the island, you will collect items that lead to other items and clues. Once you've got a ship, buying and selling and battles will be part of the island quest.
Travel down Main Street to the right and cross the covered bridge. On the far side, climb down into the stream and go left to get the Doubloon from the sand.
Return up and over the bridge to the left. Then run over to the General Store and make use of the doubloon inside your backpack to obtain a bag of chicken feed from the woman on the inside.
Give the feed to the boy with the chickens. He will be really happy and will give you a chicken as a present.
Next travel back over the big wooden bridge and you'll reach a position where there is corn growing though you will find bugs pretty much everywhere. Open your backpack and click to use the chicken. It will go onto the ground and eat all the bugs. The man will be delighted and gives you a blue candle.
Go far right past the Governor's house, to the sea edge and talk to the woman there whose husband is lost at sea.
Next go back up the hill and enter the Governor's house. There are two men over by the fireplace on the right. Speak to them and use the blue candle from your backpack to make the invisible parts of the document appear. The Goverrnor will explain the story of the lost Treasure Map and will ask you to find the pieces and defeat the terrible pirate, Captain Crawfish.
Go back all the way to the left and jump up to the top of the tower with the soldiers in it. Use the telescope up on the roof and move it around until you spot a small raft with torn sails on the horizon. Use the broken mirror to signal the raft which will sail into the pier.
A guy meets you on the dock and he is the man who has been lost at sea for so long. He is really happy to be safe back at Fort Ridley. He offers up his broken-down ship to you and wishes you luck on your adventure.
Embark on your ship and sail to the small island in the upper-left corner of the map. Avoid sea creatures, and especially pirate ships, but try to pick up salvage items in the water.
You'll soon arrive at Dragon Cove. Click on the dock and disembark. Now you can search for the first map piece which is hidden here in Dragon Cove. Jump down into the water and stand on top of the statue that is floating there. You'll find a mallet which will go into your backpack. Push the crate with the fisherman sitting on top of it to the right as far as it will go and then use the mallet you just found while you stand next to the gong. The sound of the gong will make the fish jump out of the water and onto the fisherman's hook. He will give you a piece of the map which he found in the fish's mouth. You cannot immediately afford a new ship, or the services of the Shipwright, who can repair damage while underway. New ships and the crewmembers are pretty expensive and you'll need to do a lot of trading between the islands before you can start upgrading. Go up to the trading post and sell any spice you have and buy silk.
The next stop is Bouffant Bay, which is in the top-right corner. Pick up any salvage you spot along the way.
You can assist the worker on the dock, but you do not need to have his clue. Run to the right and you will arrive at the trading post. Here you want to sell Silk. While trading in Bouffant Bay, you want to purchase as much medicine from the Trading Post as you can because it is very cheap to buy here. Go right to the residence with three Hanging Fern Baskets. Leap up into the air and hit the third one first, then the first one, and finally the second basket. After you hit all three baskets in that specific order, the map piece appears and you can take it. One of the buildings here, called Willard's Warhouse, holds the Cargo Master and having him on board your ship means you can carry fifty percent more cargo. Since this is your first trip around the islands, you probably won't have enough doubloons to hire him just yet, but try to hire him as soon as you can because with him you'll get money a lot faster. Don't forget to make sure you bought the Medicine cargo from the trading post because you'll want to sell it at the next port.
And now we're on to the next destination. Embark on your ship and sail down to Parrot Port. Sell your salvage and cargo, but there is no cargo to cheaply purchase here. Head inside Petey's Pirate Pub and you'll find the Navigator. When you hire her she increases the speed of your ship, but if this is your first trip around the islands, she's too expensive to hire for now. At upper left is a Cracker. Go back to the Trading Post and locate the Parrot. The parrot is kind of weird and tells you to jump into the sea and then to come back and try to find it. Go back to your boat and swim in the ocean, then find the parrot on the window sill of one of the buildings above the Trading Post. The parrot will tell you to clog the vent and he's talking about a chimney on top of one of the other buildings over to the right. Go stand on that chimney to stop the smoke from coming out. You can find the parrot in the palm tree over to the right. He tells you to go to the old tower and find a pirate that he knows. Head back to the left and you will find the tower near the dock where you arrived. The pirate is standing up top. Click on him and he'll tell you to return his parrot for a reward. All parrots like crackers, so use the one in your backpack to get the parrot to fly to you. Then the pirate will give you a map piece.
Now you want to emark for Golden Harbor, which is located due south of Parrot Port. There are many dangerous rocks and reefs around the island so try to avoid them. If you visit the bank, you can take out a loan that gives you more money to purchase more cargo and earn profits much faster. The loan is good for us to 20 days but carries a 5% interest per day, so it adds up quickly. As with all the other islands, there's a hidden piece of the map here. To get it, you need to figure out how to light three lanterns outside. It can be tricky because each time you light one lantern, certain others go out. The specific order is to get the lantern on the far right first the fifth lantern. Then get the third lantern, followed by the fourth one. Finally, get the second and then finally the first lantern far left. The map piece appears in a draped archway. Before you depart Golden Harbor, visit the trading post and buy as much grain as you can.
The next stop is the Pirate Outpost, a remote island located to the West. Find the trading post. Then sell all of your grain at a profit and buy as much spice as you possibly can. Go all the way up to the top of the island and you'll find a small building with a sign that says Corsair Cannonry. In the cannon shack is the Cannoneer, who you may wish to hire later. At the top of the mast is a "cannon starter kit" fuses, which will fire any of the four cannons on the outpost. Push the small barrel of explosives off the mast and into the water below. Leap off the platform and land next to the barrel in the water below. Push the barrel to the right and place it directly underneath the gold tooth in the big skull statue. Go left and fire the cannon there. The cannonball fires and lands on the explosive barrel. The big explosion knocks the gold tooth out of the skull and reveals the hidden piece of the map.
The Circular Trading Path: Sail back to Dragon Cove, directly up, and sell the Spice there. If you follow this simple clockwise trading route and buy and sell the same goods as you did on the first trip, you'll start to amass a lot of doubloons so that you can buy bigger ships and hire crew. You can use any trading routes you want, but this basic circle will get you profits faster than any other way. As you build profits, keep upgrading your ship and don't forget to hire the Cargo Master to increase the size of your hold. You might want to take out loans at the bank from time to time to get more money to fill your hold.
Winning the Game: When you've got the largest class of ship, the Phoenix Warbird, and the skilled Cannoneer, you are more than a match for any ship, even Captain Crawfish. Sail to battle him off Skullduggery Island. Once you defeat Captain Crawfish in battle, sail back to Fort Ridley. When you arrive, go back to the house with the Governor inside. He will give you the location of the Buried Treasure and a Bone Shovel to dig it up.
Sail down to Skullduggery Island and dock there. Walk six paces to the right of the flag and use the bone shovel to dig in that spot. After the treasure is out of the hole, you will be surprised by Captain Crawfish and his crew, and a spy who posed as an aide to the Governor.
There's no fight here, however. Your trusty crew arrives on your ship and defeats Captain Crawfish and his crew. You return to Fort Ridley with the treasure and the Governor gives you the Island Medallion as a reward.
