Surprisingly even today there are many who think video games are not for girls or that girls do not like to play video games. I remember having fallen in love with video games since the time of "Dave", the popular DOS based game. Boys and girls tend to have preference over different video games. But it's not fair to say that what girls play are not video games. Let's look at some of the top video games girls like to play.
Build a bear workshop - This Nintendo game is for pre schoolers. It's based on the popular build a bear franchise. Your little one gets to choose, stuff, and dress your own bear.
Nursery Mania - This is an addictive game. Girls take care of babies. They are awarded points each time babies are fed or changed.
Dora saves the snow princess (Dora the explorer) - The killer combination of Dora and the snow princess is a sure hit. You will go on an adventure with Dora, boots, and pirate piggy to save the Magic Snowy Forest form the spell of a witch.
Nintendo DS Cooking Mama Game - this game does not require you to read instructions as it is very simple to play. Even though girls may find the dicing and slicing tough in the beginning, they get a hang of it soon.
Rock Bank - This game comes with a disc, drums, guitar, and microphone. The singing is done by reading lines and drumming is a great entertainer. This can easily be declared a family game. Make some nice noise.

I tend to buy a lot of these video games from Nintendo store, Amazon, and eBay. I never buy video games alone but club it with other major online purchases I make.
