The Wonder File is an As Seen On TV product which I thought was rather silly at first. But the more I saw the commercial, the better it began to look. I began to see it as something very functional for those who needed a desk organizer. But do we really need a product like this? And, is this something that people would use every day to organize their lives?

As I said, I didn't think I needed one but during one of the commercials I thought of someone who did. This person would die for this kind of organizer and it was at this exact moment that I realized this thing was brilliant. That was enough to get me to order the wonder file and put it to the test as I love to do with all these dumb products and I was convinced I wasn't wasting my time.

That is what really great about AS Seen On TV products, perhaps the only thing. The fact that the present you with images of people in peril and offer a simple solution to get out of it. Sometimes they point out problems we didn't even know we had but they all generally address every day problems. That's why they probably sell so many of the very products a lot of us think are ridiculous.

The wonder file isn't any different and for the right niche, it's going to be great. I'm thinking Wedding Planning. I'm currently seeing my daughter going crazy try to be efficient while planning her wedding. The amount of notes and little scraps of paper is staggering and each one seems to be more important than the next. Staying on top of all the brochures, menus, lists and vendors seems near impossible.

My daughter was very appreciative when I showed up with the wonder file although she commented that it was rather ugly. I thought I hit pay dirt with the plaid but apparently I have no taste. Anyway we were quick to see that if you don't dedicate yourself to using a tool like this it was pointless so we had to agree to make the Wonder File part of the wedding planning process. As soon as my daughter chose how to categorize and prioritize, she then assigned things to places and places to things. The piles of paper started disappearing and the wonder file was talking shape. Everything was fun and games but until she had to use it, we wouldn't know if it was really effective.

Now the wonder file is a very efficient and well thought out organizer but it really became an indispensable part of the wedding planning when we realized how easy it was to just fold it up and go. It was now easy to bring all her papers and junk to show her friends and it was invaluable to have everything on hand when she went to visit a vendor. Instead of bringing things home to see if they matched or were right for the event, she always had everything handy. This turned out to be the best part of organizing with this thing.

So as I suspected, it was a smash hit with my daughter but there are a lot of other uses for this type of portable desk organizer. It's great for the home, office, students, teachers, crafters and coupon collectors. Although it might seem like nothing special when you see the commercial, this is one As Seen On TV product that just might find its place in the market.
